Why is my unit bleeping?
The alarm unit may bleep for the following reasons.
- There is a fault on your telephone line. Check you have a dialing tone and that your phone has not been left off the hook
- There is no electricity getting to your unit. Check that the electricity switch is on and that the red button on your unit is illuminated. If not, there may be a fault with the electric socket. The easiest way to check this is to plug a lamp into the socket and see if it works
- Check the unit has not been exposed to moisture or liquid, both can damage it. Also if there has been a thunderstorm in your area, this can damage the inside of the unit
